  1.               RESTAURANT HOUSE CHARGE BILLING SYSTEM

  3.     This system is used to simplify the creation of monthly bills for 
  4. restaurant house charges.  The system can handle up to 40 customers per 
  5. diskette.  Preprinted bills are not needed as the system produces a bill 
  6. and a stub for each customer with an outstanding balance.

  8.               PRINTING THE DOCUMENTATION
  9.  
  10. 1.  Make sure your printer is ready and at the top of a form.
  11. 2.  After the DOS prompt type COPY GBILL.DOC LPT1:

  13.          INSTALLING THE SYSTEM  (for more detail see documentation)
  14.  
  15. 1.  Create a diskette with a copy of DOS on it.
  16. 2.  Copy GBILL.EXE, CLEAR.EXE, AND SETUP.EXE to the diskette.
  17. 3.  Create an AUTOEXEC.BAT file which starts GBILL.EXE.
  18. 4.  Run CLEAR program which will produce empty data files.
  19. 5.  Make a backup of the new diskette and the system is now ready to go.

  21.   NOTE: IF YOU USE 2 OR MORE CUSTOMER DISKS, NEVER SWITCH DISKS UNTIL
  22.         THE DOS PROMPT IS DISPLAYED.  ONCE THE DOS PROMPT IS DISPLAYED
  23.         INSERT THE NEXT CUSTOMER DISK AND TYPE  GBILL  THEN PRESS RETURN.
